Ground Zero: The Ongoing Violent War

As Americans remember the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the propaganda war in the ongoing fight against terrorism continues to be waged, with the organizer of Sunday's 10th anniversary rally in New York City claiming American news agencies are willingly giving help to the Muslim broadcasting network Al-Jazeera. As a Christian I pondered the announcement last evening of Bloomberg and the Islamic clergy man before the microphone that it is time for us to 'forgive' the attack of Ground Zero.  This demand while dis-inviting clergy?  [But not the Islamic clergy?]  It is another of the usual and jeering mockery  of Christianity and our society which until now has valued individual freedom.  Here is why:
1.  The attacks against our freedoms, Christianity, our judicial systems, our political systems, our economic system [and that is what Obama is about btw], our schools, our lives continue.  Complete change of our systems is their goal and they have not and will not stop as long as that is their primary and end goal.
2.  Their willingness to use heinous violence against women, children and innocent noncombatants is their main weapon.  It is not only barbaric but an intrinsic, profound evil that requires justice.
3.  They refuse to stop the violence, defend it, and promulgate it even to the next generation and to disenfranchised elements of our society.  They intend to wage violence until they achieve their end in destroying our nation as it is.
4.  For forgiveness to occur, in reality before God, there must be acknowledgment that what they are doing is evil and they must initially STOP the violence and the attacks on our national institutions.
5.  There must be remorse and reparation and acceptance of the punishment for the violent evil.  I haven't heard anyone say that what they are doing is wrong.  It is absolutely wrong and should be stopped.
6.  They must respect the freedoms, laws and national rights of others. They seek to avoid the international codes of justice about war by fighting as radical, violent gangs going from country to country.  They are, however, financed by Iran, Saudi Arabia and other countries which continue to fund and train them.
7.  They continue to wage violent war---their term---on Western society and its values.  Go to YouTube, TVs in the Middle East, radio... How?  They constantly seek weapons, as deadly as possible, to use against...again: innocent people.
